F.A.Q.
You can host your game session almost anywhere! However, we recommend choosing one of the fantastic local game stores in your area. They’re a great neutral spot to meet fellow players, with plenty of space for games and a variety of snacks to enjoy during your session.
Keep in mind that some game stores may charge a table fee for using their space. Be sure to check ahead and include any costs in your game description so everyone knows what to expect!
The host of the game session will select the location. When browsing games to join, be sure to check the location details to ensure it works for you.
Hosts may choose local game stores, as they often have plenty of space for gaming and are designed to accommodate players. Keep in mind that some game stores may charge a table fee—be sure to confirm this before the session date!
Hosts may also choose other locations such as coffee shops, community spaces, or their own home. Make sure that you are selecting a location that you are comfortable with.
At the end of a successful game session, you’ll have the opportunity to endorse the players you gamed with. This is your chance to celebrate great ambassadors of the hobby—whether they showed excellent sportsmanship, shared helpful insights, or just made the session more enjoyable.
Endorsements are visible to other players, so take a moment to recognize the amazing people you meet during your games!
While we aim to create positive and enjoyable gaming experiences for everyone, we understand that things don’t always go as planned. If you’ve had a negative experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email. We’re here to listen and help improve your experience!
We love all forms of hobby gaming! But we had to start somewhere, and board gaming felt like the perfect choice—it’s a fantastic part of the hobby that lacks great tools for connecting players.
That said, we’re also keeping an eye on other areas, such as RPGs and tabletop miniature games. If there’s another aspect of the hobby you’d love to see supported, we’d love to hear from you! Drop us an email and let us know your ideas—we’re always open to feedback from our community.
Absolutely! In your game session details, you can send messages to fellow participants to share updates or new information. Whether you need to let them know you’ll be a few minutes late or clarify specific details about the session, it’s easy to keep everyone in the loop!
